About the Ancient Man Website

We have spent hundreds of hours scouring the world wide web and selecting, what we think to be, the best web sites that have anything to do with ancient man.  We hope that you enjoy what we've found and that you will learn something new during your visits here.  In the left frame, under Main Menu, you will see that the major selections have been categorized by continents and islands.  We have chosen to separate the continent of Eurasia into Europe and Asia.  This convention is commonly used.  We have not included the continent of Antartica, because as far as we know, there is no evidence of any hominids (see below) ever having been there in ancient times.  If the content of a site covers more than one continent then we will place the link on the World page, unless the great majority of the material is on one continent.  In which case we will place the link under the appropriate category.  Throughout the site you will also find links to various educational and learning sites that may or may not have anything to do with "ancient man".
When you see and click on this image Get Site Info you will get related information about the site we are linking to.  This related info includes an overview, related sites, reviews, site stats, contact info, links for finding similar sites by category and more.
